Hello! I hope everyone is having an awesome summer!! We’ve got some officer positions open, and we’ve got some members that are reporters without officer positions, so, if you’d like to apply for one, please let us know!! The positions and their requirements are shown below, and, if you decide you want to apply for a position, we will send you the information we need for applications. Photo/Graphics Editor:

• In charge of all graphics and photographs for the newspaper
• Takes photographs at important events and submits for posting with a caption
• Finds stock photos or takes photos as needed to support stories written by others as needed
• Works with Site Layout Editor and Editor-in-Chief to ensure that all stories have graphics
• In charge of working with staff to design the club t-shirt every year
• Has experience working with Canva

Advertising Manager:

• Sells and produces advertising to raise money for the newspaper
• Creates promotional material to advertise the existence of the newspaper
• Attends events to promote the newspaper and recruit members/writers
• Collaborates with Photo/Graphics Editor for flyer design

Calendar Manager:

• Keeps track of events and keeps the calendar updated
• Responsible for communicating with officers of other clubs to find meeting dates

* All officers must write at least one article every two weeks *
