This tasty meat alternative has many uses: as a meat alternative (obviously) for vegans, to make delicious desserts like almond tofu, and an alternative for people who can’t afford meat – which is why it was designed.
The Riveting History
- 179 BCE: The Han Dynasty creates Tofu as an affordable alternative to people who can’t afford meat.
