The St. Paddy’s Day Festival has been hosted by Cassidy’s Irish Pub since 2011. Due to funding issues, the event was canceled in 2025. This year, the festival is sponsored by AEP Texas, Heil Lawn Firm, the Port of Corpus Christi, and Hilliard Center, among other local businesses and organizations.

Dancers perform a medley which showcases a woman’s cultural journey, towards the end of the 16th Annual Community Health Fair and Festival of India’s cultural program. The festival was hosted by South Texas Hindu Society at the Sri Venkateswara Temple last Saturday on Sep. 15.

The Hearts and Minds Showcase before the event school featured school programs and performances. At the end of his keynote address, Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez announces the State of the District raised over $197,500 for CCISD’s Educational Fund. King High School Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) explain the effects of blood sugar levels and test Reporter Annalisa Lee’s blood sugar. The fair, hosted by the Ray High School Medical Club on April 3rd gave students an afternoon of interactive learning and fun.
