It seems that this holiday season, some moviegoers will not be experiencing merry tidings at the theatres. Those who have gone to see the newest movie in Will Ferrell’s pantheon of appearances will find themselves sorely disappointed. I am of course talking about “Holmes and Watson” a movie that is so abysmal in its quality I could not bear to sit through the entire screening. To my shame (or rather, to the shame of the people who produced this) I had to go home halfway through and instead just read the rest of the “plot” online. Needless to say, the movie is not worth your time or money. The acting is poor, the jokes are flat, and I left the theatre with nothing but a feeling of remorse and pity for what Will Ferrell has been reduced to.
