The Ray Speech and Debate team traveled to Houston over Spring Break and competed at the State competition for the Texas Forensics Association (TFA). We’re pleased to announce the results:


Sophomore Genevieve Cox placed 8th in the state in House Congressional Debate.

Senior Vanessa Zambrano reached semifinals and placed 9th in the state in Poetry.

Freshman Laura Li reached semifinals in Senate Congressional Debate, placing her in the Top 32 in the state.

Junior Ian J. Mintz reached quarterfinals in Foreign Extemporaneous, placing him in the Top 36 in the state.

Sophomore Natalie Palacios reached quarterfinals in Dramatic Interpretation, placing her in the Top 36 in the state.

Freshman Roopa Bindingnavele reached quarterfinals in Prose, placing her in the top 36 in the state.
