The National Honor Society (NHS) induction ceremony will take place in the Staples Street Gym (Big Gym) on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. “NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.” Juniors and Seniors who have met all the requirements, including a cumulative GPA of 85 or above and demonstrated community service will be inducted.

Volunteers are needed to help set up and organize for the induction ceremony. Community service hours will be awarded. If interested, go to the Staples street gym (Big Gym) any time after school on Wednesday, November 14 to help set up and organize.

Everyone is invited to attend.
